I was given a choice of pattern that I wanted to make, I could hack or mash that pattern. So many ideas formed and I decided the Imari shorts would be my choice,these shorts have two options, a bubble leg or a flat, I chose the flat, I added Mila to complete this outfit as I have made it several times and it's a favorite in my granddaughters wardrobe.
I didn't hack my Imari as I simply love the tailored look of these shorts, they fit the body so beautifully that i didn't want to change that.This pattern has a very professional look and feel yet suitable for all sewers of all stages to make.
I added a little detail on the pockets as my fabric stripes were thin and I think it suited the over all look.
These shorts just fit so beautifully we have already cut 2 more pairs to sew up .
To complete the outfit I used Mila and hacked to add a lattice look to the back and a double lace finish so the short design is not hidden.
